July 21, 2013 we went to Little Rock to walk the River Trail. We have been there many times, but there is so much to see & do. It is ever changing and updating. River Market offers a few museums, Farmer's Market on Saturdays and a variety of events held throughout the year. My favorite being Riverfest. Like a giant fair, but with lots of concerts in the 3 days it is held. One price for all 3 days is quite a bargain. On our visit this day I had hopes of seeing the dancing fountain, but arrived much too early or it was closed down on Sundays. It did not stop us from enjoying all this area has to offer. After a little drive around the area, we parked by the River Market for free (2 hour limit). These photos are just a small number I took this day. Seemed that each step contained something photo worthy. I was surprised at the number of people who were here this early on a Sunday morning. Most were joggers/runners...some, like us had come early to beat the heat.

Junction Bridge (You can walk across this to North Little Rock and more of the River Trail)

Glass elevator or stairs? We took the elevator, but not on the way back.
It had an alarm going off, and I refused to get in.
Took the stairs, clinging to the handrail the whole time.
Terrified of heights!!!!
